This plan consists of two basic parts: material and
services.
Through our partnership with
General Electric and Hunt Technologies, Champion can offer a broad
range of metering products.
Under the services section we detail a list of services that Champion
is offering to help in the implementation and use of these metering
products. You can select these services on an ala carte basis depending
on your individual needs.
In the near future we will be adding a selection of appropriate meter
bases, and some of the most common Instrument Transformers to our
stocking program. Please keep in mind that we will continually work to
improve this program. If you do not see a product or service you are

Inventory & Delivery Services
One
of the main focuses of this plan is to help your utility lower it's
inventory costs. To do this Champion will carry adequate inventory of
the metering products your utility uses. Our goal is to provide you
with Just-In-Time inventory service. In other words, you'll be able to
order in lower quantities than you are accustomed to, and receive the
material in a matter of days as opposed to weeks. Our delivery goal is
to ship meter inventory within 3-4 days from receipt of order. We do
have the ability to ship "Next Day" in emergency situations.
We will also accept orders for single phase meters in less than pallet
quantities. We recognize the fact that in some cases a pallet of meters
may be several months worth of inventory. Champion will now accept
orders for meters in multiples of four units (box quantity). This will
allow you to significantly increase your turns.

Training
It is our intent to provide our customers with
the training and knowledge required to develop their metering programs.
To that end, Champion has always and will continue to offer training
with new purchases or significant product/software upgrades. In
addition we will have user group meetings at no charge to distribute
the latest in product knowledge and basic training.
However, we recognize that some customers would like to have additional
training for Key Account personnel, dispatch, billing, etc.. To address
these situations we have developed a training course that can be
provided on-site with a fee per user basis.

Programming and Upgrading
Champion will provide at no
charge, as we have in the past, the training needed to create your
first meter programs. Champion also will pre-program your meters prior
to shipment for a nominal fee.
Again, Champion will provide you with the training necessary to upgrade
meters in the field on your own. If however you would like Champion to
upgrade your existing meters we can do that either in your shop or ours.

Meter Reading and Reporting
Champion now offers a meter reading and reporting service. On kV meters
equipped with a modem, Champion will interrogate your meters on a
weekly or monthly basis, depending on your needs. Once the meter has
been read Champion will produce the requisite reports and submit them
to your utility via fax, e-mail, or mail. The reports are available in
both hard copy and electronic formats. If you are interested please

specific needs.

Installation Services
Champion will provide AMR module installation
services for interested utilities. We can install modules in AMR ready
meters and convert non-AMR meters to AMR ready based on the following
schedule.
·Installation of Turtles in New Turtle Ready.
·Installation of Turtles in New non-Turtle Ready.
Retrofit customers meter to Turtle.
